Rain ends early, then we’ll have some partial clearing during the day, maybe  even see some sunshine at times during the afternoon. High around 50 and evening lows in the mid 30’s with a gusty westerly breeze.

John Donnelly was born in Hialeah, Florida and moved back to Rhode Island and settled in Johnston, where he grew up until graduating from Lyndon State College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology.

The House voted Tuesday on a new subcommittee to look at what Republicans call the "weaponization of the federal government," one of several goals GOP leaders outlined. The House voted Tuesday afternoon to establish a new special panel to probe what Republicans call the "weaponization of the federal government." The subcommittee of the Judiciary Committee would have extraordinary power to investigate any part of the federal government for perceived wrongdoing against conservatives -- the Justice Department and FBI, in particular.
